This glossary defines the key terms you will encounter on Firestarter.


Affiliate

A user who earns a commission by referring traders to a specific token on Firestarter using a unique referral link or embeddable widget.

AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

A set of laws, regulations, and procedures intended to prevent criminals from disguising illegally obtained funds as legitimate income.

ANLOG ($ANLOG)

The primary utility token of the Firestarter platform, used for paying fees, staking, and building your Trust Score.

Bonding Curve

An automated and transparent pricing system for a new token. The price starts low and increases as more people buy, ensuring a fair price for everyone based on real-time demand.

Creator

An individual or brand who launches a token on the Firestarter platform. Also referred to as an "Issuer."

DEX (Decentralized Exchange)

A 24/7 automated marketplace where your token can be bought and sold by the community after the initial "Fair Launch" sale is complete.

Fair Launch

The initial sale of a new token on a bonding curve, designed to be fair and transparent for all participants.

Fiat On-Ramp

A feature that allows you to buy cryptos (like $ANLOG) directly with traditional payment methods like a credit card, without leaving the Firestarter platform.

Gas Fee

A small transaction fee paid to the blockchain network (e.g., Base) to process your transaction. Firestarter does not receive any of this fee.

KYC (Know Your Customer)

A process that financial institutions and other regulated companies use to verify the identity of their customers to comply with legal requirements.

Liquidity

The ease with which a token can be bought or sold without affecting its market price. On Firestarter, liquidity is automatically created on the DEX after a successful Fair Launch.

Real-World Asset (RWA)

A digital token that represents ownership of a real-world asset, such as real estate, art, or a share of a business's future revenue.

Scout

A user who earns a lifetime commission by onboarding new creators to the Firestarter platform.

Smart Wallet

A secure and user-friendly digital account that is automatically created for you when you sign up for Firestarter with your email or social account. It is a self-custody wallet, meaning you have full control over your assets.

Storefront

A personal, decentralized marketplace where creators can sell exclusive digital products and goods directly to their community using their own token.

Tokenization

The process of converting ownership rights of an asset—such as a brand, a piece of art, or even a viral meme—into a digital token on a blockchain.

Trust Score

A dynamic rating from 0-100 that quantifies the credibility of a creator on the Firestarter platform, based on verifiable actions like completing KYC, linking social accounts, and staking $ANLOG tokens.
